ETE is the only NJ program dedicated solely to educating educators about mental illness in the classroom. The ultimate goal of ETE is to help teachers, school administrators and school districts to expand school mental health programs, thus permitting children and adolescents with mental health illnesses/serious emotional disorders (SED) to envision success. The presentation has a straightforward approach to providing educators with information and strategies for helping children learn, as well as affording a glimpse into the journey of the whole family whose child is ill. |
