Teaching in Correctional Education is very stressful. Participants will be taught about the nature of stress and its impact on an individual’s health. Participants will be taught various methods to deal with and relieve stress. |

Kevin Kavanaugh has been employed by the New Jersey Department of Corrections for the past 24 years as a correctional educator. During this time, he has taught outdoor education to juvenile offenders, high school math and science, and affective education classes. He is presently an Assistant Supervisor of Education at the Garden State Correctional Facility.
Robert Hill has been employed by the New Jersey Department of Corrections for the past 23 years as a Correctional Educator. Initially, he was the Supervisor of Recreation at the Albert C. Wagner Correctional Facility,. He coordinated the following intramural and varsity sports: boxing, power lifting, softball and basketball. He presently teaches Health and Physical Education classes at both the Garden State and Albert C. Wagner Correctional facilities. |
