This workshop will assist staff in establishing practical strategies to identify and strengthen leadership skills in adolescents and young adults. Ways to recognize how certain at-risk and undesired behaviors can be redirected to serve as positive desired leadership traits will be discussed. The use of case studies will be employed in this interactive workshop. |

Matt Stevens, Author of Doing It My Way: Decision Making For Today’s Youth, is currently a Counselor, Instructor and Advisor at Kean University, Union, New Jersey. His book is being used in several N.J. Public Schools, and the college version is being used as the text for the Freshman Seminar course in four colleges/universities. Mr. Stevens is involved in many youth empowerment programs and is an experienced public speaker in the area of at-risk youth. |
